Parents, Many of the bus numbers and routes will change for the 2020-2021 school year. The changes are due to our school district receiving four new buses and due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements. If your child or children will ride a Fort Payne City School bus, you will need to fill out an enrollment form online by Friday, July 27th.

The chart for meal distribution is listed on the following page along with student resources for educational opportunities. The closure timeframe is Tuesday, March 17, 2020, through Monday, April 6, 2020. All school-sponsored activities scheduled during the statewide school closure are suspended until April 30, 2020. All absences from school today, Monday, March 16, 2020, are excused. Yesterday evening, the CDC released some new guidance reducing the recommended limits on mass gathering from 500 to 50. Our collective commitment to protect the health and safety of our students remains our top priority. I am grateful for the many teachers, administrators, and staff who are exhibiting extraordinary resolve and effort to address student needs.
