For the 2021-2022 school year, the Fort Payne City School System received an allocation of $161,729 from the U.S. Department of Education. As voted on by the Fort Payne City Schools Federal Programs Advisory Council in May 2021, funds will be used for class size reduction units, especially at early grades as stated on our evaluation and Needs Assessment. Additional monies will be used for high-quality professional development during the school year for both teachers and administrators.
