Monday, September 14th, 2020

*Students, if you did not get your mid-term report on Friday, go by your homeroom teacher’s room to pick it up today.

*Handbook Forms-About 50 more students signed handbook forms over the weekend, but there are still a lot who still need to do this. An updated list will be emailed this afternoon.

*Seniors, today is your last chance to vote for who’s who. Check the senior Google classroom for the link to the ballot.

*Attention all Key Club Members, we will have a virtual meeting Wednesday (9/16) morning @ 7:15 am or 7:45 am.  See google class for more information.

*Attention all FTA Members, we will have a virtual meeting Thursday (9/17).  If you have not joined google class or remind yet, please do so before then.  Come by Mrs. Barnes’ room for information.

*The FIRST Robotics team is selling button again this year.  They are $1 each.  Brand new designs.  You can purchase from Mrs. Shugart or Mr. McClung’s room.

*Attention anyone that has ever has an Education and Training class: become a member of the Future Teachers of Alabama!  Dues are $5!  See your email from Mrs. Barnes or check the board outside of her room for details on how to join!. 

*All students must fill out a lunch application each year. The applications have to be completed before the end of September. Pick up lunch form applications in the lunchroom.

*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2020-2021 Yearbooks will be available for purchase September 1-March 31, 2021. The cost is $45 from Sept.1 - Dec. 31.  The cost beginning January. 1- March 31 with be $55. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options: www.balfour.com -search for Fort Payne High School-verify that our school name is displayed-click Yearbook and continue following the steps on the website to place your order. Price: Sept. 1- Dec. 31, 2020 - $45 Jan. 1 - March 31, 2021 -$55

*Mrs. Freeman has a limited number of extra 2019-2020 yearbooks for sale.  If you would like to purchase a book, the cost is $50 and they will be first come first serve.

*Students, please remember to wear your masks.

*All students should be checking school email at least at the beginning of each day. Ask any teacher if you are not sure how to get to your school email.

*Afternoon bells:  1st bell for bus riders ONLY.  2nd bell for car riders & car drivers.

*Students, please make sure you use the hand sanitizer in the Hallways frequently.

*Students are not allowed to hang out in the parking lots before school, you must enter the buildings and go to class.

*NO cell phones out at school!!!!!

*Students are NOT allowed to go to their vehicles after they come on to campus without signing out/in with Mrs. Vezertzis in the office.

*All attendance notes need to be turned in to the office first thing in the morning. If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office or email notes to Mrs. Vezertzis at kvezertzis@fpcsk12.com  Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 9:30am. After 9:30am they will not be accepted.

*GoFan, is the new ticketing policy at FPHS. This service will allow you to purchase tickets for athletic events online through Fort Payne’s GoFan page or by presenting a debit/credit card (or mobile payment option) at the ticket gate. Purchasing tickets online allows fans to easily access and share tickets (email or text) without standing in line. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online prior to reaching the facility. Signage will be setup at the venue to allow fans to easily navigate an online purchase. Debit/Credit card stations will be setup to support card and mobile payment options at the ticket gates.
