Wednesday, October 9th, 2019

*Seniors, please look at your email and vote for your DAR Good Citizen Rep for the senior class.  Voting will close this Friday.  Only a few of you have voted.

*Tomorrow Thursday, the LEO Club will meet in the cafeteria during 4th block.  Check in with your 4th block teacher prior to attending.

*Those of you who have signed up for the Arts Con fieldtrip on Wednesday October 23rd at NACC must take your signed permission slip and $5 registration fee to Mrs. Byrd’s room #111.

*9 weeks exams are today for language, history, and B block classes.  You will go to 1B after announcements.  After break, you will go directly to 2B for you exam.

*We have very important testing tomorrow as well.  ALL STUDENTS need to be here at the start of school!  We will NOT have tech school, dual enrollment, or any late arrival tomorrow.  It’s very important that you all be here and be on time.

*FCA will be tomorrow, Thursday on GAME DAY instead of Friday, @ 7:20 in Mrs. Barnes’ room.  Matt Chisenhall is the speaker.

*The Varsity football game is on Thursday at Buckhorn High School this week.

*Flu shots for students is October 18th.  Anyone needing a form can get one from the office or the nurse.

*All attendance notes need to be turned into the office first thing in the mornings.

*The lunchroom is now offering Tuna Lunchables in the lunch room as an alternative meal. They will also be serving coffee as well.

*Pumpkin carving, poetry, fiction, drama and singing are some of the competitions that students have an opportunity to take part in on Wednesday, October 23rd @ NACC.  Talk to your friends, see who may be interested in going, and then check your email from Mrs. Shugart and fill out the form.

*Please check your email for the Best Robotics key chain order form from Mrs. Wells.

*The lunchroom will have iced coffee for $2 per cup.  If you eat breakfast the iced coffee can be purchased for $1.50 per cup.  We will have creamers: half & half, French vanilla, and caramel macchiato.  2 creamers will come with each purchase of coffee.  Additional creamers can be purchased for 25 cents.

*Students, please tell your parents you are not allowed to be dropped off in the bus loop in the mornings.

*Make-up pictures will be made on Oct. 14th.

*FPHS Prom will be Saturday, April 4th from 6-10 pm at the Canyon Center. Prom tickets are now on sale with Mrs. Maxwell for $55.

*If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office. Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 9:30am.

*TA’s must sign in at the library before reporting to your teacher so you are not marked absent.

*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2019-2020 Yearbooks are on sale. The cost is $40 before Christmas Break. $50 after December 31, 2019. $25 deposit will reserve a book. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options :If you would like to pay for your yearbook via credit/debit card, please use the following link and instructions: Please go to https://www.balfour.com/student-info?smi=565 verify that our school name is displayed, select the students grade, enter students first and last name, and click shop for this student. Continue following the steps on the website to place your online order. If you prefer to pay via check, please make all checks payable to FPHS yearbook and bring to Mrs. Freeman in room 302. Payment Plan Options (before Christmas Break): Payment 1-(Deposit) $20 - Due by: Nov. 15th. Payment 2 - $20 - Due by: Dec. 13th.
