Tuesday, September 24th 2024

*Today is the mock PreACT for 10^th graders, we will go to our regular 2^nd block class for attendance, then an announcement will be made to go to homerooms and testing locations. 10^th grade – your testing locations are in your Class of 2027 Schoology in the top folder “PreACT Testing Locations”.

*ALL GRADES-Please check your email from Mrs. Coker from yesterday morning to see if your homeroom is relocated for 2^nd block. Students in 9^th, 11^th and 12^th will be completing MAP testing during this time. Mrs. Bible will send an email with that information.

*The Culinary Building will be closed Wednesday during 1^st block due to an event. Culinary 1^st block should report to the library.

*The Gigawatts robotics team will be selling homecoming buttons every day this week before 4^th block around school. Look for team members in 2^nd building lobby, in front of 3^rd building and in front of the gym. Buy your homecoming button for $3 any day of the week before 4^th block to support the Wildcats!

*Tuesday, Oct. 1^st Grades 9^th, 11^th and 12^th will have a virtual day while 10^th grade takes the PreACT.

*Calendar Girl will be on Nov. 2^nd. Information packets are in the office. Registration fees and forms are due to Mrs. Owens by Oct. 25^th.

*Bracelets are on sale for $1 in the main office. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish Alabama, which grants wishes of critically ill children. They will be sold during 1^st block in the office each day.

*Anyone interested in wrestling need to check their emails from Coach Panell for sign-ups.

*Information about FP letter jackets are in the office.

*Attention: Key Club Members: You need to do three things in order to be a member of Key Club by the end of September: pay your dues, view the meeting in google classroom and fill out the form, AND bring in comfort closet items or pop tops. If you do not complete all three of these things you will be removed from the remind. This is very important.

*2023-24 Yearbooks are available for pick up. If you purchased a yearbook last year, please come by room 118 and see Mrs. Chesnut. Be prepared to sign for each book you pick up. Students can pick up before school or during 4^th block.

*Students, make sure you turn in notes for absences and make up missing assignments within a few days.

*Students, there are no call-in checkouts. Parents must sign you out in the office or you must have a check out note for that day to the office first thing in the morning.

*Any girl who is interested in trying out for soccer, there is a sign-up form in the main office.

*There are students from each class that have not joined their class Remind group.  You are missing IMPORTANT announcements.  Check your email from Mrs. Freeman and join your Class Remind group.  Your parents also need to join!

*9th graders who purchased a yearbook last year from FPMS can pick up their yearbook from Mrs. Chesnut in room 118 during 4^th block or before school only.

*Prom tickets are on sale now. They are $75 each and will remain so until March 3^rd, 2025. Prom is April 5^th at Wills Valley Rec Center from 7-10pm.

*It is time to join a club at FPHS. We want you to BE ACTIVE in your School and Community! Mrs. Freeman sent an email to you with a list of FPHS clubs and how to join. I encourage every student to join at least one club this year.

*Students, please check your email every day for important information.

*Students are not allowed to have ear buds in ears in hallways, bus loop or up walking around, if they are seen they will be taken up.

*Students, reminder, we do not accept deliveries with Door dash or Grub hub, no food deliveries to students. 

*Reminder Students, you must come to the office to check in or check out. If you are late, you must check into the office, Do not just go to class. Also, Do not leave campus without signing out in the office, if you have a parent note to check out.

*All attendance notes need to be turned in to the office first thing in the morning. If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office or email notes to Mrs. Vezertzis at kvezertzis@fpcsk12.com  Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 8:30am.
