Monday, March 13th 2023
*Report cards will be printed tomorrow, so finish up any missing assignments and test today.
*Juniors will take ACT tomorrow, but everyone else will complete virtual assignments from home. Make sure you are doing those assignments, because you do not want to start the new 9 weeks with a bad grade! Tell your teacher if you need paper copies.
*Juniors, Field trip permission forms are due Wednesday, March 15th for the NACC experience day which is on March 21st. Bring forms to the office or give to your second block teacher.
*Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams for their outstanding performances at the James Clemens Invitational. The girls team placed 1st overall and the boys team placed 5th overall.
*Potential NHS Members received a letter indicating requirements to join and/or remain a NHS member. Service projects are due Wednesday, March 15th. See Ms. McClain if you have any questions.
*Seniors, check your email for the runoff ballot for Junior Prom Court. The voting ends on Wednesday, March 15th.
*Tickets for CLUE are available. This Murder Mystery will be Monday, March 13th through Thursday, March 16th at the New Williams Avenue Theatre. All shows start at 7pm and tickets are $5. See Mr. Crawford or cast and crew.
*The FPHS Talent Show will be held on March 21st. Check your email to sign up to be in the Talent Show. The last day to sign up is Wednesday, March 15th.
*Seniors, join the Senior Remind group. You will find the code on your Google Classroom. Please join the group and have your parents join it. The code is @2023fphs .
*Seniors, Your graduation fee (which includes your cap & gown with the 2023 tassel and your diploma & diploma cover) was due TUESDAY, JANUARY 31st to Mrs. Owens in room 101 at FPHS. The fee is $80 and checks should be made payable to FPHS. If you are planning on borrowing a cap & gown from someone your fee will be $70.
*Prom will be on Sat. March 25th, 6-10pm at Little River Canyon Center. Tickets are on sale now for $100 each and can be purchased during Zero block, 2nd block or 4th block in Mrs. Thacker’s or Mrs. McClung’s room. Tickets can only be purchased during these times to cut down on class disturbances.
*Students, just a reminder, please avoid putting any objects on your Chromebook keyboard. Pencils, erasers, even paper clips can crack your screen.
*Reminder to all TA’s, you must sign in with Mrs. Fischer, in the library, everyday or you will be marked absent.
*If you have Chromebook problems, do not come to the library. You must fill out a Happy Fox trouble ticket, or get someone else to fill one out for you. Please be patient as we try to resolve everyone’s technical problems.
*Students, reminder, we do not accept deliveries with Door dash or Grub hub, no food deliveries to students.
*Reminder Students, you must come to the office to check in or check out. If you are late, you must check into the office, Do not just go to class. Also, Do not leave campus without signing out in the office, if you have a parent note to check out.
*All attendance notes need to be turned in to the office first thing in the morning. If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office or email notes to Mrs. Vezertzis at email@example.com Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 8:30am.
