*Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year’s Virtual Talent Show. Voting has closed and the results are: 3rd place-The Quartet, 2nd place-Kiley Adams and 1st place-Mary Mauney. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, please see Mrs. Shugart today for your prizes.
*Any current 10th grade student who is signed up to take Mrs. Byrd’s AP English course next year, must stop by room 111 today and pick up a summer reading contract. Summer reading assignments will not be given until the contract has been signed and returned to Mrs. Byrd.
*All medications from the nurse must be picked up by a parent by Wed., May 26th. Items not picked up will be destroyed.

*There are a limited number of calendar girl calendars available for purchase. The cost is $15. Come by Mrs. Barnes’ room to purchase one. First come first serve.
*The Class 20- 2021’s Slow Motion Pep Rally is available for viewing. Go to the FPTV app or teachers can go to the FPCS homepage, click on FPTV then click on the web app link. They should be able to find it from there.
*Students, Mr. Anderson sent you an email with instructions for turning in Chromebooks. Be sure to read and follow those instructions closely. You will turn in Chromebooks on the following dates, notice items to turn in are slightly different this year: May 13th & 14th-Seniors turn in Chromebook and charger ONLY. Keep your case. May 25th & 26th-Sophomores and Juniors-turn in Chromebook, case and charger. You will receive a new Chromebook and charger next school year. Freshmen-turn in Chromebook and case only. Keep the charger for next school year. You will receive the same Chromebook next school year.
*National Technical Honor Society Members check your email from Ms. McClain about how to apply for the NTHS Scholarship. The deadline is May 31st. See McClain if you need additional assistance.
*Students, Please keep in mind that 9 weeks exams are NOT like a regular test grade. They count as 15% of your average. Ask any teacher how to calculate your average if you are not sure. It is EXTREMEMLY important that you do not miss these exams. For some students, it makes the difference in whether you pass the class or have to re-take it. High school classes must be passed to earn credits for graduation. Check with your teacher if you are unsure about whether or not you are on track to earn a credit or if you may be eligible for summer school to make up all or part of a class.
*If anyone is in need of professional clothing to wear for you scholarship or job interviews, please see Mrs. Freeman. FBLA has a professional dress closet for students to use.
*There will be a $1 charge for replacing lunch cards.
*Students, please remember to wear your masks. If you need a mask come to the office. Please make sure you use the hand sanitizer in the Hallways frequently.
*Afternoon bells: 1st bell for bus riders ONLY. 2nd bell for car riders & car drivers.
*All attendance notes need to be turned in to the office first thing in the morning. If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office or email notes to Mrs. Vezertzis at kvezertzis@fpcsk12.com Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 10:00am. After 10:00am they will not be accepted. There are students who have already used up their 3rd nine weeks parent notes. You are allowed 3 parent notes per 9 weeks. You will receive a zero for any grade taken during an unexcused absence.
