Friday, October 4th, 2019
*Flu shots for students is October 18th. Anyone needing a form can get one from the office or the nurse.
*No school on Monday, Oct 7th. We will have 9 weeks exams next Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday will be math, science and any subject in an A block. Wednesday will be English, foreign language, history and any subject in B block. You will go to 1A for attendance and them move directly to 1A. After break, you will go straight to 2B.
*Thursday, October 10th, we will be testing in homerooms again. Freshmen will finish Global Scholars, Sophomores will take the Pre-ACT, Juniors will take the TruScore ACT, and Seniors will finish Global Scholar. There will be NO LATE ARRIVAL, NO TECH SCHOOL, and NO DUAL ENROLLMENT on Oct. 10th. ALL STUDENTS must be at school at 7:45am.
*All JROTC cadets going on the fieldtrip today need to turn their permission slips in this morning before 2nd block.
*All attendance notes need to be turned into the office first thing in the mornings.
*Calendar Girl Calendars are on sale until today, Friday if you did not get to purchase one on Saturday. See Mrs. Barnes to place your order.
*Attention Key Club Members: turn in all Calendar Girl Birthday sheet to Mrs. Barnes by today Friday.
*Student, check your email for Class and School Favorites voting forms. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE!
*The lunchroom is now offering Tuna Lunchables in the lunch room as an alternative meal. They will also be serving coffee as well.
*Pumpkin carving, poetry, fiction, drama and singing are some of the competitions that students have an opportunity to take part in on Wednesday, October 23rd @ NACC. Talk to your friends, see who may be interested in going, and then check your email from Mrs. Shugart and fill out the form.
*Please check your email for the Best Robotics key chain order form from Mrs. Wells.
*The lunchroom will have iced coffee for $2 per cup. If you eat breakfast the iced coffee can be purchased for $1.50 per cup. We will have creamers: half & half, French vanilla, and caramel macchiato. 2 creamers will come with each purchase of coffee. Additional creamers can be purchased for 25 cents.
*Seniors, Bill Miller will return on October 8th to take Senior formal orders.
*Students, please tell your parents you are not allowed to be dropped off in the bus loop in the mornings.
*Make-up pictures will be made on Oct. 14th.
*FPHS Prom will be Saturday, April 4th from 6-10 pm at the Canyon Center. Prom tickets are now on sale with Mrs. Maxwell for $55.
*If you have been absent, you must bring your note to the front office. Check out notes must be turned into the front office by 9:30am.
*TA’s must sign in at the library before reporting to your teacher so you are not marked absent.
*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2019-2020 Yearbooks are on sale. The cost is $40 before Christmas Break. $50 after December 31, 2019. $25 deposit will reserve a book. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date.
