*Students, please check and read your email at least once or twice each day.
*We will start calling 11th graders for lunchroom ID set up today during 4th block. We will start with Mrs. Tarvin and Dr. Cole.
*This week is FBLA week. Today is Autism Awareness Day. FBLA is donating money to support autism research and the needs of families and individuals impacted by autism.
*The following students please see Mrs. Wilborn today: Chloe Boman, Evelyn Hernandez, Joshua Whisenant, Hannah Burt, Paige Goote.
*Congratulations to the Track Team on their outstanding performance at the Indoor State Meet this past weekend. Madi Wallace and Carter Pinholster both placed 2nd in the 60 hurdles and the girls 4x800 team of Gracie Groat, Mollie Sanderson, Maddie Jackson and Anahi Barboza also placed 2nd. Other top performances were Matthew Shaddix placed 4th and Maggie Groat placed 5th in the 60 hurdles. Great job by all of those that competed.
*Feb. 4th-8th is FBLA week. FBLA has the following planned for FBLA Week: Monday is Autism Awareness Day, Tuesday is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day, Wednesday is Child Advocacy Sponsorship Day, Thursday is March of Dimes Awareness Day, Friday is the Bread of Life Sponsorship Day.
*Debate team members need to turn in their permission forms to Ms. Hayes by Tuesday.
*Students participating in the technology competition need to turn in permission slips to Ms. McClain.
*Prom date forms are in the office for anyone attending prom with a date from another school or who does not attend any school.
*Students, on Tuesday, Feb. 19th, Student Council will host Wildcat Family Feud. We will pick teams of 6 from each grade to compete. Sign-ups will be held in a few weeks. Now, please check your email for the survey questions for the game.
*A new gate has been installed behind the band room. The gate will be closed during school hours.
*All Seniors, check your email from Mrs. Barnes for instructions on turning in your pictures for the Senior video.
*Students, please remember that you must register your vehicle and purchase a parking decal in order to park on campus. Drivers, you must park in your assigned spot. No students should be parking on the top row of the athletic lot. That is teacher parking only.
*Seniors, FAFSA sign-ups are here in the office. There are 4 different dates available.
*Students, remember that check out notes are due to Mrs. Vezertzis by break time or 9:30am. If you bring a note after break time they will not be accepted and your parents will have to come to the school and check you out. We do not allow check outs over the phone.
*Juniors and Seniors, Prom Tickets will increase to $100 after Feb. 4th. All Juniors and Seniors going to prom must purchase a ticket.
*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2018-2019 Yearbooks are currently on sale for $60. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options: If you would like to pay for your yearbook via credit/debit card please use the following link and instructions: Please go to www.balfour.com enter our school name, verify the city and state, and click on “Yearbook” to place your online order. If you prefer to pay via check, please make all checks payable to FPHS yearbook and bring to Mrs. Freeman in room 302. All balances must be paid in full by March 20th .
