*Students, please check and read your email at least once or twice each day.
*Report cards go home today.
*Today is the last day to sign up for Diamond Dolls. See Mrs. Varnadore in room 105.
*Students, please remember that you must register your vehicle and purchase a parking decal in order to park on campus. Drivers, you must park in your assigned spot. No students should be parking on the top row of the athletic lot. That is teacher parking only.
*The Wildcat Battalion Rifle Team will represent Fort Payne at the Alabama State 3-Position Air Rifle Championship at the CMP range in Anniston on Sunday, January 13th. Devin Thomason, Kristen Fowler, Jade Robison, and Ibet Perez will fire in the varsity team competitions. Caleb Stalvey, Cameron McElrath, and Bailey Jenkins will compete as individual shooters. The varsity team is currently undefeated at 10-0 in the North Alabama Rifle League and the JV team, including Austin Bone, is 9-1. Good luck and good shooting this weekend.
*Seniors, FAFSA sign-ups are here in the office.
*Students, 4th block is still an attendance issue. If you are not going to be in your normal reach class, it is your responsibility to let your teacher know.
*Students, there are some spots open for Drivers Ed 2nd block only and only if you have a permit or license. Please see Mrs. Wilborn.
*If you are missing a pair of glasses see Nurse Wright.
*Seniors, who are interested in writing the class poem, please see Ms. Hayes. Submissions are due by Jan. 31st.
*Mrs. Elliott is collecting Bath and Bodyworks shipping boxes of any size.
*Students, remember that check out notes are due to Mrs. Vezertzis by break time or 9:30am. If you bring a note after break time they will not be accepted and your parents will have to come to the school and check you out. We do not allow check outs over the phone.
*Juniors and Seniors, Prom tickets are on sale now for $65. Tickets will increase to $100 after Feb. 1st. All Juniors and Seniors must purchase a ticket.
*Students must stay on the sidewalks until the buses stop in the bus loop. You will be written up if you violate this policy.
*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2018-2019 Yearbooks are currently on sale for $50 (This price is only good, if you purchase your book prior to Christmas Break. There will be a price increase of $10 ($60) for all books purchased after Christmas break). No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options: If you would like to pay for your yearbook via credit/debit card please use the following link and instructions: Please go to www.balfour.com enter our school name, verify the city and state, and click on “Yearbook” to place your online order. If you prefer to pay via check, please make all checks payable to FPHS yearbook and bring to Mrs. Freeman in room 302. Payment Plan Options (before Christmas Break): if you chose the payment plan option, all balances must be paid in full by March 20th . Payment #3 -$10, Due by Jan. 17th.
