* 9 Weeks Test Schedule - Wed. May 23rd - Math/Science, Thurs. May 24th - Language/History
*Students, remember that check out notes are due to Mrs. Vezertzis by break time. If you bring a note after break time they will not be accepted and your parents will have to come to the school and check you out. We do not allow check outs over the phone.
*All medications must be picked up from the nurse by May 24th. The medication must be picked up by a parent. If it is not picked up it will be destroyed.
*Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Key Club Officers: President - Bailey Barnes, Vice President - Gracie Groat, Secretary - Chloe Boman, Treasurer - Brady Moses, Historian - Robbie Graham, Public Relations - Sarah Grace Ward, Class Representatives - Ricardo Gonzalez, Hannah Hariel, Jessica Ramirez. If you would like to join Key Club next year, check outside Mrs. Barnes’ room for information.
*Anyone interested in joining Key Club next year can sign up early by joining the new remind group and the new google classroom. Both of these codes are outside of Mrs. Barnes’ room. You can also pay your dues. There are opportunities to earn hours over the summer. You must be in the remind group to get that information. Also, all current members that earned their hours, please go to google classroom to vote for officers for next year. Voting ends at the end of the school day today.
*Anyone interested in taking the ACT this summer, there is a new date available in July. The test will not be given at Fort Payne but is available at other locations. If you missed the deadline for the June ACT, you need to get signed up for the July one. Check actstudent.org for more information.
*Any girl interested in signing up for JV or Varsity Volleyball stop by the office to sign up.
*Any Junior interested in taking Virtual Government and Economics next school year should see Coach Boatwright.
*Students who have signed up to take Honors 10 English next year must pick up the summer reading assignment and turn in a signed contract by the last day of school. Students may get the assignment in room 111 during 4th or 5th.
*Students who have signed up to take 11th grade AP Language and Composition must also pick up the summer reading assignment during 4th or 5th block in room 111. These students must check out a textbook and return a signed contract by the last day of school.
*Any girl interested in participating in summer workouts for Girls soccer need to come by Dr. Cole’s room to get a workout packet.
*Chromebook turn in dates: Seniors: May 21st-23rd. 9th-11th Graders: May 23rd and 24th .
*Students, this announcement is extremely important. Mr. Anderson emailed instructions for turning in your Chromebooks before graduating or leaving for the summer. Be sure you read that email, follow the instructions and turn in Chromebooks based on the dates shown in that email.
*Students, remember if you live out of district, an Out of District form must be turned into the office.
*Any student who will be 18 by June 5th and would like to register to vote, please see Coach Boatwright for more information.
