Celebrate Science Exhibit Prototype Competition:

FPCS 4th Grade Gifted students won 2nd Place at the annual Celebrate Science Exhibit Prototype Competition at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama for their prototype of the "Coriolis Carousel”!  The WAES students competed against 15 other schools state-wide. The objective of the competition is to create an exhibit prototype for a science museum, and it must focus on a specific scientific principle. The students' prototype demonstrates the “Coriolis Effect” in a unique and creative way.
